Process Event

The Process Event activation method initiates a macro when a Process first starts or when it closes.

Macro Express Explorer > Macro > Add Macro - Or click on New Macro Icon

Process to Watch

Click on the Browse button to select the process to monitor. Browse through a list of processes in the Start menu or from a list of processes currently running on the computer. Or look for where the process is installed on the computer.

What to Watch For

Process Starts Running

The macro activates as soon as the chosen process starts running.

Process Stops Running

The macro starts when a process ends or closes.

Macro Nickname

Optionally assign a name to the macro to later more readily help determine what the macro does.

Build as a Popup Menu

Select this option and click on the OK button to open the Menu Builder and create a popup menu.
