Enable or Disable Macro
A disabled macro will not execute, but the definition is retained for potential future use. This is helpful for those instances where a particular macro is not needed for a time, but may be needed later. Instead of deleting it and re-creating the macro later, simply disable it and then enable in the future.
Disable a macro
To temporarily disable a macro, highlight the macro from the list in the Macro Express - Explorer window and do one of the following:
1.Click on Macro > Disable Macro from the menu
2.Right click on the macro and select Disable Macro from the context menu
Disabled macros appear in the Macro Explorer with italicized red text to distinguish from active macros. A disabled macro will not function again until it has been Enabled.
Enable a macro
To enable a disabled macro, highlight that macro in the Macro Express - Explorer window and do one of the following:
1.Click on Macro > Enable Macro from the menu
2.Right click on the macro and select Disable Macro from the context menu
Floating Menus
When closing a floating menu by clicking on the "X" in the upper right corner of the menu window, the floating menu is disabled. To enable the menu highlight the floating menu from the list of macros in the Macro Explorer and click on Macro > Enable Macro.
Macro Disable and Macro Enable Commands
Also use the Macro Disable and Macro Enable commands in macros themselves to enable and disable other macros in the macro file - such as Floating Menus or Scheduled macros.
Highlight macro in Macro Express - Explorer > Macro > Enable Macro/Disable Macro
