Rich Text not inserting colors in Word and Outlook

This appears to be a recent change made in Word and Outlook. It looks like the default pasting option has changed. Below are the steps to take.

Word

1. Open Word and click on File, Options.
2. Click on the Advanced option and scroll down to the “Cut, copy, and paste” section.
3. Change the dropdown menu option from “Pasting from other programs” to “Keep Source Formatting”.
4. Save the change.

Outlook

1. In Outlook, click on File, Options.
2. In the Outlook Options window click on Mail and then click on the Editor Options button.
3. In the Editor Options window click on Advanced and scroll down to the “Cut, copy, and paste” section.
4. Change the dropdown menu option from “Pasting from other programs” to “Keep Source Formatting”.
5. Save the change.
