The Place on Desktop option not working
UpdatedJune 27, 2022
When you create an icon on the desktop, the macro nickname also becomes that file name. Windows will not accept several characters in a file name, one of them being the /. Other characters not allowed are \ : * ? < > and |. So if you remove the offending character from the nickname, you should be able to create a desktop icon.
To place an icon on the desktop, highlight the macro in the Macro Express Editor. Then click on Macros | Place on Desktop. This will put the icon you have selected for your macro onto your desktop.
