How does Macro Express handle Window Titles with a filename before the title?
UpdatedJune 28, 2022
How does Macro Express handle Window Titles in windows where a filename appears before the title itself? In this type of window, the initial letters in the string cannot be predicted.
Macro Express can use a partial match on the text in the Window Title and that partial match can be anywhere in the Title. For example, you would always get a match with Google Chrome by using “Google Chrome” if “”Google Chrome” is always present in the Window Title. It doesn’t matter where the text is located in the Window Title.
